HA TRAN
An international star and performer, Ha Tran has been one of Vietnam’s top 4 divas since 2002. Often regarded as the Vietnamese Bjork, she fuses jazz, classical, pop, trip hop, and ambient styles with ethereal vocals to transcend standard Vietnamese music. Ha Tran Productions Presents Tran Tien

HTP Presents Tran Tien is a collection of songs written by renowned Vietnamese composer Tran Tien. Recorded in California and mixed/mastered in Hanoi, the album contains 13 tracks and features performances by Ha Tran, Hoa Tran, Tung Duong, and Applesauce Tran. Tran Tien received critical acclaim and was nominated for 2008 Album of the Year in Vietnam. It is said that one in three Vietnamese know a Tran Tien song by heart…we feel the album has at least one song for everyone.
Tinh Ca Qua Ky (Timeless Classics)

Recorded in California and Hanoi, Tinh Ca Qua The Ky features 13 songs including favorites like Dung Xa Em Dem Nay, Nhung Con Duong Tinh Yeu, and Co Don. The album is a tribute to the timeless classics that influenced her and reminiscent of Ha’s early jazzy style.
Doi Thoai 06 (Communication 06)

Communication 06 was a departure from Ha’s classical/jazzy sound and incorporated traditional Vietnamese music with trip hop, electronic, and ambience influences. Released in 2006, the album was recorded and mixed by Thanh Phuong and featured separations mastering by uber-guru John Vestman (www.vestmanmastering.com). Com 06 received the “2006 Innovation Award” from Sports and Culture Newspaper at its 2006 Album of the Year Awards, which is equivalent to the Grammies. The album was also voted 2006 Album of the Year by www.nhacso.net (a leading Vietnamese music fan website), and Labor Newspaper voted it as 1 of the 9 best albums of 2006.

Sac Mau Tinh Ca (9803)

Sac Mau Tinh Ca is the U.S. release of Ha Tran: 98-03, a redone and remixed collection of her past hits. The album also contains three rare tracks of Ha in the studio with American jazz musicians in California as well as a cool remix of Sac Mau (Colors), one of her most famous songs. The album won 2004 Best Album Cover and was also nominated for 2004 Album of the Year in Vietnam.

Tap Ky Yeu (A Decade of Love)
Tap Ky Yeu (A Decade of Love) is Ha Tran’s first poetry book and a collection of 15 poems written from 1998 to 2011recounting her childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood. As she says in the introduction of her book, “I have nurtured these poems like a mother worrying for her little child…worried that life and the prejudices of the literary world might hurt them. Poems bring me to a pinnacle of feeling, another way of thinking, and another spiritual solution besides music.”
WHODAT
Whodat is the brainchild of songwriter/producer Binh Doan and fueled by the principle of imagination without structure. Formed in 2002 as one of the first Vietnamese electronic projects, Whodat features a revolving cast of performers and has released three albums: Dig This in 2002, Il Duce in 2004, and Minimal Beasts in 2010. Released in 2010, Minimal Beasts is the third release from Whodat and blends trip hop, ambient, electronic, and rock influences. SUPER SEED
If electro country grunge rock sounds intriguing, then Super Seed is for you. Comprised of collaborators Binh Doan and Kerry Glenn, Super Seed is a fusion of soft trippy ballads mixed with slight vodka rages and a good dose of edgy delirium. Formed in the 1990s, the duo has outlived countless formations and trampled through adversity to release some heart-wrenching tunes that speak of the human experience.

Seedhead is the newest album from Super Seed and features guest appearances by Ha Tran, Thanh Phuong, and Applesauce Tran.
